Three years ago, I wrote about the launch of Mezha on social media : “Well, let’s go! It’s going to be interesting”, but of course, at that time we did not realize how interesting and how difficult it would actually be. But three years later, we are still here and we even have something to be proud of. The results of any period for the media are the articles created during this time and the coverage figures. And we would like to share with you some of Mezha’s statistics for these three years and, of course, a list of the most popular publications during this time.

In April 2022, Google updated its analytics system, and it was in April 2022 that the English-language version of Mezha appeared. Therefore, all the statistics below are not for the full 3 years, but for 2 years and 8 months, but given that the end of February and the beginning of March of that year were difficult for the editorial staff, as well as for all Ukrainians, this is possible and correct. Let’s go.

Unfortunately, the version of Disqus that we use does not allow us to see the top discussions on Mezha.Media for all time, so I selected the stories with the most comments based on my own articles “Monthly Results on Mezha.Media” that I have been writing since the beginning of 2023. The results are somewhat predictable, with the most discussion being about news related to Ukraine.

We don’t know why our English-speaking readers choose to read some of the news here rather than on their own resources, but the Top 10 news and blogs for the three years of Mezha include two English-language news stories with hundreds of thousands of views. In addition, as you may recall, in 2022 we wrote a lot more about military equipment and partner assistance, so there are a lot of similar news in the top.

There’s a little bit of irony missing, but if we count together the monthly “PC of the Month” by Oleg Kasich, they will be 100% in first place.

Smartphones, tablets, and laptops are the traditional leaders of user requests, and of course they dominate the top of Mezha’s most popular reviews over the past three years. And these are primarily English-language reviews, so the decision to launch an English version of the site when it seemed a little late turned out to be absolutely right. In fact, the English-language version of Mezha.Media brings the site almost 11% of views. In addition, the top reviews for all time include two Ukrainian games (the review of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will definitely grow) and, quite unexpectedly, the movie The Substance.
