Apple may release 60 thousand to 80 thousand units of the Vision Pro headset by the start of sales on February 2, 2024. This opinion was expressed by TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, according to The Verge.

The specialist closely follows the tech giant’s production plans. He predicts that in 2024, the company will ship about 500 thousand augmented reality headsets.

Apple has recently announced that its headset will go on sale in early February, but first only in the United States. Pre-orders will start on January 19. The price is $3 499, with additional lenses available for $99 and $149. In the future, the company plans to release a cheaper version of the headset, which will cost $1 500 to $2 500.

Earlier, Bloomberg reported that Apple is ramping up production of the Vision Pro mixed reality headset and plans to launch the product in February. The production of the new headset is in full swing at the factories in China.

The headset was presented at WWDC 2023. At the time, Tim Cook called Vision Pro a revolutionary spatial computer that was the result of a decade of development.
