Google will notify you if your personal data appears online

Google is launching a new feature that will show users results with information about their personal data. Users will also have the opportunity to request the deletion of this data, writes Mashable.

Users will be able to add information to be notified. This can be mobile numbers, emails, addresses, or just a name. After that, Google will send you mentions of this information by email or notifications on your device.

The company has no means of removing personal information from third-party services, but users will be able to remove this data at least from search results.

The new tool was first announced back in August, but now the company is starting to make it available to users around the world. The tool is not yet supported in Ukraine.
