Roblox, an incredibly popular multiplayer game among teenagers and children, is hosting protests in support of Palestine, reports TechCrunch.
The user salsabeel on the social network X said that her 15-year-old cousin, who could not attend the protests in real life, joined the protests inside the game. This post has over 6 million views.

After this and other posts and TikToks, the number of people who started joining the protests in the game increased significantly. For example, the Malaysian server where the protests took place has been visited more than 157 thousand times.
Of course, the servers were also accessed by people with different views on the situation or by users who spread anti-Semitic theses in the chat room. However, the community was largely able to deal with such attacks on its own.
The developers told TechCrunch that they also closely monitor the servers with such protests to ensure that they are not subject to hate speech:
“We have an expert team of thousands of moderators along with automated detection tools in place to monitor our platform and will take swift action against any content or individuals found to be in violation of our standards.”
