Apple has released the iPadOS 17 update – what does it offer?

Apple has released the iPadOS 17 update. The new version of the operating system is available for iPad (6th generation and later), iPad mini (5th generation and later), iPad Air (3rd generation and later), 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2nd generation and later), 10.5-inch iPad Pro, and 11-inch iPad Pro (1st generation and later).

The Lock screen has been updated in iPadOS 17. Now you can personalize it even more by using dynamic wallpapers and photos, changing font styles, and adding widgets. Widgets on the Lock screen allow you to instantly view information such as weather, time, battery power, scheduled events, and more.

Updates have also been made to Messages. For example, the search function has been improved and new ways of expressing yourself have been introduced with new emoji stickers and the ability to create Live Stickers by highlighting objects in photos or videos and adding effects to them.

In FaceTime, users can send a video or audio message if the subscriber does not answer the call. In addition, you can now receive calls on Apple TV using your iPad as a camera.

Users will also be able to work with PDF files more easily. Later this year, an autocomplete feature will be available that will detect and fill in fields in forms, allowing you to quickly add names, addresses, and email addresses from Contacts.

Notes introduces new ways to organize, read, annotate, and collaborate on PDFs, and allows you to quickly link one note to another.

The Health app for iPad has been optimized for a larger screen, and the Stage Manager has added more flexibility in window layout and the ability to use the external display camera for FaceTime and video calls.

Thanks to profile settings in Safari, users can separate work and personal environments in the browser. Freeform has new drawing tools and adds Track Actions, and the Keyboard has significantly improved autocorrect, allowing users to type faster, easier, and more accurately than before.

Earlier, it was reported that iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 will be released on September 18, and macOS Sonoma – on September 26.
