The Polish studio Red Square Games announced the project SlavicPunk: Oldtimer. This is a kind of isometric cyberpunk shooter with a brutal hero. Something like The Ascent by the Swedish Neon Giant, but with Slavic roots.

And apparently the game looks quite interesting, but there are several “buts”. First, the name of the company. That is, it is definitely a Polish company, and not russians hiding, but after the full-scale invasion of the russian invaders into Ukraine, having such a name is disgusting.

Secondly, SlavicPunk: Oldtimer is a game based on the novels of the Polish science fiction writer Michal Golkowski… But this author does not have SlavicPunk novels. There is a series of SybirPunk novels, the events of which unfold in a dystopian future. This is a gangster-criminal trilogy that describes the fate and adventures of Sasha “Skinny” Khudov, who sells illegal substances in the metropolis of Neosibirsk. That is, these are novels about russians.

What’s more, there is no SlavicPunk: Oldtimer game on Red Square Games, but there are … that’s right SybirPunk games. Dear Poles… this is some disgusting disrespect, to be honest.
