The Serhiy Prytula Foundation acquired access to the ICEYE satellite with the money collected for Bayraktar

As you probably remember, the Serhiy Prytula Foundation recently quickly raised money for three Bayraktar drones, which the Turkish company eventually gave to Ukraine for free. Then the Foundation undertook to use the money properly. So, ”this day has come” and Prytula told what exactly the saved funds went to.

After consultations with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the received UAH 600 million helped to sign an agreement with the Finnish company ICEYE for access to satellite data for more than a year ahead.

“Ukrainians, you are as amazing as space! We bought a satellite!” says Prytula in his address.

The agreement also includes access to the company’s satellite constellation database. This will make it possible to quickly receive urgent information about the state of events in the right places and accordingly plan further actions in the fight against the Russian troops.

“There will be a lot of ‘claps’,” adds Prytula.

It is noted that currently the ICEYE company provides the most advanced technology of radar-satellite imaging. According to the company, its satellites allow you to follow the Earth “through clouds and see in total darkness.”

In their twitter The Alpha Centauri tell, that the company’s satellites “conduct observations in the microwave range (the resolution can reach 25 cm), which makes it possible to receive images at any time and under any weather conditions. Data is updated approximately every few hours.”

“With this agreement, ICEYE further builds on its efforts to provide objective data and technological support to Ukraine. We firmly believe SAR technology and its capabilities will continue to add significant value to the Government of Ukraine, now enabled by the work of the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation,” says ICEYE CEO Rafal Modrzewski.

The Foundation also expressed its gratitude to the founder of EOS DATA Analytics, Maks Polyakov, for all the support and expertise provided to the project. We remind you that thanks to EOS, Ukraine already receives satellite data from GEOSAT 2.
