Currently, Counter-Strike 2 has the lowest Steam rating of all Valve games, except for Artifact. This was reported by Insider Gaming.
And although the overall rating of Counter-Strike 2 is now a seemingly pleasant 88/100 based on 7.6 million reviews, it should be borne in mind that Counter-Strike 2 simply imitated the Counter-Strike page: Global Offensive page, complete with all the old game’s ratings and even its release date of August 21, 2012.
If we take only reviews from the last 30 days, and Counter-Strike 2 was released only on September 27, 2023, we have only 67/100 based on 164 thousand reviews, and half of them are also related to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
As you can see from the graph, since September 28, 2023, positive and negative reviews appear with almost the same frequency, so in fact, the rating of Counter-Strike 2 is even lower, somewhere around 50/100.
Only one Valve game in history has a lower rating, the infamous Artifact – 46/100. Although, in our opinion, this game does not deserve such a negative rating.
Recently, a well-known Ukrainian professional player Oleksandr s1mple Kostylev, who has been playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive for NAVI, criticized Counter-Strike 2 on Twitter.
I can clearly tell that if you want to become CS2 pro you still have 3 months, don’t play this shit game rn, wait for updates
