Details of Samsung’s new chip, the Exynos 2400, have been revealed
Samsung has introduced a new Exynos 2400 processor, which, according to the company, will be 70% faster than its predecessor, reports GSMArena.
Samsung claims that the Exynos 2400 will have a 1.7-fold increase in processor performance compared to its predecessor.
The company also emphasized a 14.7-fold improvement in the performance of artificial intelligence on the new processor. The presentation also showed a new function of converting text to pictures.
The Exynos 2400 will feature the Xclipse 940 GPU based on AMD’s RDNA 3 architecture, which offers mobile ray tracing to significantly improve gaming graphics.
It is expected that the new processor will be created using the latest 4nm LPP+ process technology. The chip is likely to have a 10-core CPU using a 1+2+3+4 configuration with cores based on the ARMv9 architecture.
The new processor will also support LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, a 320-megapixel camera sensor, and 8K video recording at 60 FPS.
In addition, screenshots have appeared online comparing the Exynos 2400 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen2. Despite the promised performance boost, the results are still in favor of the latter.
