Thus, HMD does not miss the opportunity to join the trends and launches the Nokia G42 5G model in So Pink color. Before that, the model was already available in So Purple and So Gray colors.

In addition to the currently popular color, the manufacturer also draws attention to other features of this model. It is noted that the smartphone has been “thoroughly tested for resistance to daily impacts.” In addition, it has protection against water and dust splashes (IP52), and the proprietary QuickFix platform allows you to repair the device at home.

At the same time, the manufacturer emphasizes long-term operation. The battery capacity is 5,000 mAh, which, when paired with unpretentious other components, should be enough for three days of operation. Moreover, the smartphone has a USB-C connector and supports 20-watt fast charging (QC 3.0 and PD 3.0). And after 800 charging cycles, the battery should retain more than 80% of its capacity.

Nokia G42 5G will also offer three cameras in the rear unit. This is a 50-megapixel main sensor, which is assisted by AI in various conditions, and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor will be used for portrait photos. The third “window” in the block is reserved for a 2-megapixel macro. The resolution of the front camera is 8 MP.

Among the main features is a 6.56-inch display with a resolution of 1612×720 pixels, peak brightness of up to 560 nits, and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. There is a fingerprint scanner on the side panel. It is also one of those smartphones that still has a classic headphone jack.

Inside, the Nokia G42 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480, which is complemented by 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, which can be expanded with a terabyte memory card. Of course, there is support for 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 and several navigation systems, and even NFC. The smartphone comes with Android 13, should receive the next two versions of the OS, and will receive security updates for three years.

The previous versions of the colors are available in Ukraine for UAH 7,999. There is no information on the availability and price of So Pink yet.
