Skoda’s large cars are getting ready to be updated – new generations of Skoda Kodiaq and Skoda Superb are due to be launched this fall. So the company is gradually releasing information. We already know about the increase in size, the proportions of the body are clear, and there is data on engines.

And now we have the first photos of the Skoda Kodiaq and Skoda Superb interiors. They will be similar to each other – and at the same time somewhat different. For example, the interior of the new generation Skoda Kodiaq will still retain the layout with two separate areas: for the driver and front passenger. A 13-inch display will be installed in the center, and a 10-inch dashboard screen will be placed in front of the driver.

Also, pay attention to the DSG automatic selector under the steering wheel – this made it possible to maximize the space on the center console. Accordingly, it is now possible to equip large niches for storing things there.

The Skoda Superb’s interior also features a pair of displays (10 and 13-inch) and a steering wheel-mounted gearshift, all of which are common to both cars. However, notice the different design of the ventilation deflectors and the decorative strip that stretches across the entire width of the cabin.

In addition, it is worth noting the “smart switches” in the form of climate control rings with integrated displays. These rings not only rotate, but can also be pressed. Moreover, according to the presses, the switch-ring can change its function: click – and adjust the fan speed; click – and control the music volume. In total, you can set up to four additional variable functions.

It seems that the new Skoda Kodiaq and Skoda Superb will bring many such small but interesting surprises. So let’s wait for the official debut and full information about the new cars!
