Skull and Bones is still alive and preparing for the beta test

It turns out that Ubisoft’s long-suffering pirate RPG Skull and Bones, which has been in development for 10 years and whose release has been delayed many times, is still alive and well and even preparing for closed beta testing.

It will take place from August 25 to 28, 2023, and you can sign up for participation on the Ubisoft website. There is no information yet on what exactly will happen in such a short OST, which is more like a stress test.

As a reminder, development on Skull and Bones began in 2013 after the success of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. In 2022, it was announced that it would now be a multiplayer game service. The release of Skull and Bones was delayed again in early 2023. Now the game will be released in fiscal year 2023-2024, i.e. by the end of March 2024. Do we believe it?
