Виробник механічних клавіатур Keychron запустив на Kickstarter збір коштів на нову клавіатуру під ігровим суббрендом – Lemokey L3.

This is a shortened TKL (TenKeyLess, without additional numeric keypad) wireless keyboard, which is a modified version of another Keychron model, Q3 Pro. The Lemokey L3 differs from it not only by a slightly different design, but also by an additional 2.4 GHz USB radio receiver, which allows the keyboard to work with a polling frequency of 1000 Hz.

So when using a wireless keyboard connection, it should feel just as “fast” without any input lag as it would via USB. The keyboard will also support Bluetooth connectivity, with the ability to connect to three different devices.

Lemokey L3 will be equipped with wear-resistant doubleshot PBT caps and Cherry switches, will have an aluminum case and RGB lighting. In addition to traditional keys, it will have additional 4 macro buttons and a programmable wheel. According to the manufacturer, the battery with a capacity of 4,000 mAh should be enough for 200 hours of operation on the radio channel without backlighting. The manufacturer promises both layout options — both American (ANSI) and European (ISO). Keyboard setup will be done using QMK/VIA software.

Keychron plans to start shipping the keyboard to customers later this year, the fully assembled keyboard will cost $209, the barebone version (without switches and caps) will cost $189.
