2.5 years after its release, Cyberpunk 2077 finally received “overwhelmingly favorable” reviews on Steam

It took two and a half years for CD PROJEKT RED to recover from the disastrous launch of Cyberpunk 2077 and regain the trust of players. After a lot of negative reviews in December 2020, the rating of the game was quite low, but now Cyberpunk 2077 already has “mostly favorable” ratings on Steam, that is, around 80%. The Global Community Director of the studio Marcin Momot noted this.

Cyberpunk 2077 currently has 554,454 player reviews and a Steam rating of 79%. Data for the last 30 days is even better – 87% based on 8,146 reviews. If you look at the charts, you can see that the game received most of the negative ratings in the first 4 months after release. On the other hand, this period accounts for the largest number of reviews.

Are you going to play Cyberpunk 2077 before the release of Phantom Liberty? As a reminder, this big DLC will receive Ukrainian localization, and one of the characters of the expansion will be voiced by adult film star Sasha Grey.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty release on Windows PC, PlayStation 4/5 and Xbox One / Xbox Series X|S is scheduled for September 26, 2023.
