The debut of the “hot” Nissan Ariya Nismo crossover: a sports car for Friday?
It’s time to get used to it – various “charged dream versions” are increasingly appearing in electric vehicle lines. It’s worth mentioning the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, Volkswagen ID-line electric vehicles in the GTX version, numerous Performance variants for various Tesla models, and many other examples. Now the hot Nissan Ariya Nismo crossover is joining this list!
It’s interesting to note that the Nismo’s modifications have always been quite moderate, but comprehensive – exterior, suspension, interior, power. The rule worked this time as well: the Nissan Ariya Nismo electric car received an original front spoiler and a rear wing, 20-inch wheels, and red accents. The changes are not radical, but they instantly distinguish the Nissan Ariya Nismo from conventional versions of the crossover.
In addition, the developers promise to improve aerodynamics and traction – the latter is also supported by a modified and reconfigured suspension. And even a special sound reminiscent of Formula E racing cars has been added.
Of course, it was not without an increase in power. The Nissan Ariya Nismo B6 version is equipped with a 66.5 kWh battery and all-wheel drive with two electric motors with a total output of 270 kW (367 hp) – against 335 horses in a conventional Nissan Ariya crossover with similar technology. And the Nissan Ariya Nismo B9 electric car offers a 91 kWh battery and a total power of 320 kW (435 hp) – against 390 “horses” for a conventional crossover.
The interior has also changed slightly. Inside the Nissan Ariya Nismo crossover, you can see sports seats, a steering wheel with red markings, additional red dashboard decor, Nismo logos, and more. All according to the rules of the genre!
