Marvel announces a new animated series about Wakanda and confirms other animation projects for 2024

During an exclusive event dedicated to the premiere of the second season of What If…, Marvel announced a new animated series about the warriors of Wakanda – Eyes of Wakanda. This was reported by IGN.

Despite the fact that the series will be set in Wakanda, the story will not be about the Black Panther, but about brave warriors who collect dangerous artifacts from the vibranium.

“Throughout Wakandan history, brave warriors have been tasked to travel the world retrieving dangerous vibranium artifacts. This is their story.”

The series will be released in 2024 for Disney+. Other details have not yet been disclosed.

However, in addition to the announcement of the new show, Marvel also talked about other animation projects. Thus, the X-Men ’97 series, a sequel to the original show that aired from 1992 to 1997, was confirmed once again. It will premiere in 2024.

They also said that the upcoming Spider-Man series, which was previously called Spider-Man: Freshman Year, will now be called Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and will also be released next year.
