Google Drive has an updated homepage that shows all pending access requests, recent comments, and file approvals to help users quickly review recent activity and take action in one place.

With the new update, Drive also features suggestions based on machine learning algorithms that suggest folders based on what you’ve recently opened, shared, or edited, or what documents you’ve added to your upcoming meetings.

We also added filters to narrow down your search and find relevant files faster. Now you can filter files by type, people, modification date, or location.

Google Drive web version gets an updated design

The update should be available to all users in the near future.

We remind you that recently Drive also received a similar design update on smartphones, where they also focused on making it easier for users to find everything they need.
