This is how it happens: in the morning, information is still rumored, and in the afternoon it is already confirmed with good photos and a detailed description. This is about the update of the Nissan Rogue, which is sold in Ukraine under the familiar name Nissan X-Trail. So what has changed?

The first hints of the new “face” of the car were fully justified: a new radiator grille, a new bumper, new black and glossy elements. By the way, the Nissan Rogue comes with black and glossy décor in the highest trim levels – not only on the front, but also on the doors and wheel arches. The wheels are also decorated with new 18-inch wheels. All of these design changes will probably be carried over to the updated Nissan X-Trail in European specification.

As for the changes in the cabin, the Nissan Rogue will get a pair of 12.3-inch displays: the first one as a dashboard, the second one to control the multimedia system. This is news for the U.S. market, but it’s not new for the Nissan X-Trail in European versions, as it has had such displays from the beginning.

But what is really interesting is the 201 hp VC-TURBO 1.5-liter 3-cylinder gasoline engine in the American version. For example, in Ukraine, such an engine is now offered with a power of 163 hp, and power of about 200 “horses” and more can be obtained only on e-Power versions. So if the updated Nissan X-Trail crossover gets an engine with increased power, it will be a great addition to the changed appearance.
