“People’s Supercar” for Friday: the final episode of the Hennessey Exorcist Camaro ZL1

We finish the week with real “American muscle” in the form of the Hennessey Exorcist Camaro ZL1 Final Edition super coupe. As the name implies, the car is based on the Chevrolet Camaro in the ZL1 version, which already means a 6.2 LT4 V8 gasoline engine with 650 horsepower, advanced aerodynamics, and a sporty interior.

However, this was not enough for Hennessey, and they undertook a comprehensive revision of the car. Thus, the Hennessey Exorcist Camaro ZL1 coupe received a more efficient and powerful compressor, modified cylinder heads with ground channels, original NRE camshafts and special valves. The fuel supply and engine cooling systems were also modified.

The result is more than 1,000 horses and 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) acceleration in just 2.1 seconds. At the same time, the top speed of the Hennessey Exorcist Camaro ZL1 reaches 349 km/h.

That is: in terms of power, dynamics, speed, the Hennessey Exorcist Camaro ZL1 can be called not just a “coupe” but even a “super coupe”: it fully corresponds to the level of the original supercars. At the same time, it is much cheaper – the price starts from $135 thousand.

However, the cost of the Hennessey Exorcist Camaro ZL1 Final Edition is currently unknown. After all, this is a real exclusive that will be produced in the amount of 57 copies – in honor of the years of production of the Camaro model, which will soon be taken off the assembly line. A great farewell to the legend of muscle cars: bright and powerful!
