The new installment of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, is coming to all major platforms in a week – October 5, 2023. On this occasion, the developers presented the game’s release trailer.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is positioned as a return to the series’ roots, but some players have already expressed their dissatisfaction with the presence of an in-game store with skins, as well as the ability of the hero to teleport to the victim. Neither of them really fits the thesis of returning to the sources. On the other hand, the game world has indeed become much smaller,, almost as intimate as in older projects like Assassin’s Creed Unity (2014) or Assassin’s Creed Syndicate (2015).

Earlier, Assassin’s Creed Mirage was planned to be released on October 12, but the developers decided to push the release a week earlier.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released on PC, PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5, and Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S. On PC, the game is available on the Ubisoft Store (and is part of Ubisoft+) and the Epic Games Store. The game costs UAH 1,089 on PC.

The song in the trailer is Mirage by OneRepublic, written specifically for the game.
