Assassin’s Creed Mirage has gone gold, according to the game’s official account. Moreover, the new action/adventure about assassins will be released a week earlier than planned – not on October 12, but on October 5, 2023.

As a reminder, Assassin’s Creed Mirage takes place in 861, 12 years before the events of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The game’s protagonist, Bassim, is already familiar to us from Valhalla, and this is the story of how he became an assassin.

Although Assassin’s Creed Mirage is touted by the developers as a return to the series’ roots, according to the German rating, the game will feature bonus levels, skins, virtual coins/in-game currency, subscriptions, updates, and ad disabling (!). Almost everything is the same as in all the latest Assassin’s Creed games. But “disabling ads”?! What the hell is this, Ubisoft?!

According to the rating site, “in-game purchases are mostly optional, so they are not required to progress in the game.”

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released on October 5, 2023 on PC, PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5 and Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S. On PC, the game is available on the Ubisoft Store (and is part of Ubisoft+) and the Epic Games Store.
