The Audi Q4 e-tron electric crossover is the smallest in the European four-ring model lineup, but that doesn’t stop it from being popular. On the contrary, the Audi Q4 e-tron electric car has good sales and serves as an entry ticket to the world of Audi electric models. So, to maintain the popularity of the Audi Q4 e-tron and not lose out to new rivals, for example, Volvo EX30 or Mercedes EQA – the Germans have already decided to update their model somewhat. Although in fact there are no external differences.

But there are differences inside, and they are quite significant! For example, even the base version of the Audi Q4 e-tron with the “45” designation now receives a more powerful 286 horsepower electric motor. If it is an electric car with all-wheel drive, there will be two electric motors, but the total power still remains the same.

But if it is the Audi Q4 e-tron crossover with the “55” designation, it will not only be equipped with all-wheel drive, but also with increased power: a total of 340 horses, providing acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 5.4 seconds. The top speed for all versions of the Audi Q4 e-tron is 180 km/h.

In addition to the use of new electric motors and increased power, the electric crossover also received a new and improved cooling system, which made it possible to increase the efficiency of the electric drive. And this, accordingly, has affected the range: now the most “long-range” variant of the Audi Q4 e-tron with an aerodynamic Sportback body (black crossover in the photos) can drive up to 562 km on a single full battery charge: nominally 82 kWh; 77 kWh is used.

In addition, the basic equipment of all versions of the Audi Q4 e-tron has been expanded and the suspension settings have been changed to achieve an even better balance of handling and comfort. There are also new driver assistance systems, such as lane change assistant when driving at highway speeds. Finally, another difference is that the battery charging capacity has been increased – up to 175 kW for the maximum versions.

New Audi Q4 e-tron electric vehicles will be available for ordering in Europe at the end of September this year. However, the price is considerable: from 53 thousand euros.
