Nissan Frontier Hardbody pickup: a new special version in memory of the past
Nissan has recently unveiled a special version of its pickup truck that reminds us of the “warm lamp” past of the 1980s. After all, the new Nissan Frontier Hardbody fully and completely imitates the styling of the Nissan Hardbody 40 years ago.
The main decoration of the Nissan Frontier Hardbody is the arc in the body and 3-spoke wheels with 17-inch A/T tires. However, it’s also worth noting the black front bumper and numerous stickers: on the doors, on the hood, etc. It really looks quite stylish and similar to the original – you can compare for yourself.
But there are no technical changes. The Nissan Frontier Hardbody pickup truck is based on the Nissan Frontier mid-size configuration – for example, it has a double cab and all-wheel drive (the basic versions of the pickup have a short cab and rear-wheel drive), and the cabin has an 8-inch central display. Under the hood of the Nissan Frontier Hardbody is a 310-horsepower 3.8-liter gasoline V6 paired with a 9-speed automatic.
The cost of such a stylized Nissan Frontier Hardbody pickup in the US market is about $41 thousand, but basic versions of the Nissan Frontier start at just under $30 thousand.
