The updated crossover Porsche Cayenne has received a new flagship version, and a hybrid version at that. Thanks to a combination of a gasoline engine and an electric motor, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid crossover is ready to offer 739 hp, making it the most powerful Porsche Cayenne variant ever!

Visually, the super-powerful Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid crossover stands out with extended air intakes on the front bumper, an exhaust system with 2×2 pipes, and red brake calipers.

However, in the case of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid, it’s not so much the appearance as the interior that matters. After all, under the hood we have a boosted 4-liter gasoline turbo-V8 with 599 hp and an electric motor with a capacity of 130 kW or 176 “horses”. In total, the hybrid system produces 739 hp and 950 Nm of torque, which is enough to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 295 km/h.

It is interesting that not only the power output of the gasoline/electric engine and the total power output, but also the size of the battery has increased. After all, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid crossover is a plug-in hybrid: it can travel up to 82 km without fuel at all, only on electric drive – and thanks to a new larger battery with a capacity of 25.9 kWh.

Along with the Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid model, the car also debuted in a Coupe version. As usual, the latter is distinguished by its exterior and a redesigned rear end that features a dynamic tilt of the roof pillars – reminiscent of a drop of water.

But it’s important to mention the GT Package option when talking about the new model. So, what is the Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid Coupe GT Package? It is a super-powerful hybrid combined with several important sports accessories that are usually offered as options.

The Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid Coupe GT Package, for example, immediately receives PCCB carbon-ceramic brakes and a dual sport exhaust system. Also, 22-inch wheels with wider tires are used, and the suspension is adjusted to take into account the reduced (-10 mm) ground clearance. Speed characteristics have also been slightly improved: acceleration from 0-100 km/h takes 3.6 seconds and the top speed reaches 305 km/h.

The sales of the new Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid and Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid Coupe GT Package will start soon. The cost is already known: about 180 thousand euros for the Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid in a traditional body or Coupe version; about 208 thousand euros for the maximum version of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid Coupe GT Package.
