The new Porsche Cayenne SUV has just debuted: it is based on the current model generation, but received significant updates.

The most important external change can probably be called the front part of the car: new wings and a hood have appeared, HD Matrix LED headlights are installed – they offer 32,000 LEDs and more than 1,000 steps of their adjustment to driving conditions. Other changes are expected and fully integrated into the understanding of the “facelift”: new body colors, PASM suspension with new 2-valve shock absorbers in the standard configuration (pneumatic is offered as an option), new options for 20/21/22-inch wheels, etc.

However, the changes inside the car turned out to be much more significant! So, the new Porsche Cayenne SUV starts with a gasoline 3-liter turbo V6, which has become more powerful (+13 hp) and now offers 353 “horses”. A hybrid version was built on its basis, which received a new electric motor and an enlarged (25.9 kWh) battery. Thanks to this, the total power of the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid reaches 470 hp, and it is possible to cover up to 90 km on electric drive alone.

Next – even more interesting! The Porsche Cayenne S version offers a gasoline 4-liter V8 with 474 hp. and 600 Nm of torque. Thanks to such indicators, the SUV demonstrates acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 273 km/h. If that’s not enough, then look at the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT in the Coupe body (by the way, it has also been updated similarly to the basic model): its own styling, sports exhaust system, luxury wheels. However, the highlight of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT version is the forced V8 engine with 659 hp, which guarantees acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and 305 km/h.

In addition, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT version received its proprietary interior design. Which, by the way, has also changed significantly (we already talked about it before): a new digital instrument panel, a changed steering wheel with hints of a 911 sports car, the installation of an automatic transmission joystick on the front panel. In addition, an air quality control system was added, safety and driver assistance systems were updated, and the equipment and interior decoration options were expanded.

The new Porsche Cayenne SUV will be available from the summer of this year. The price of the car on the German market starts from 89 thousand euros, but the hybrid or S-version immediately jumps for 100+ thousand euros, and the Coupe body adds another 3-5 thousand, depending on the specific modification. There is currently no price guide for the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, but such an exclusive will definitely not be cheap.
