We’ve already seen the design of the new generation Hyundai Santa Fe and received the first information. But now we have more details about the car.

So: the new Hyundai Santa Fe crossover has not only radically changed its design, but also gained in size. Now the car has a length of 4.83 meters and a wheelbase of 2.82 meters, which means it has added about 5 cm in each parameter. The size of the wheels has also been increased to a maximum of 21 inches.

In addition, the Hyundai Santa Fe XRT variant has already appeared, hinting at off-road adventures. This version offers special off-road tires, a roof ladder and additional fuel tanks. So far, all of this is concept status, but it looks quite realistic for production.

Speaking of different versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe and their engines, they will all be gasoline. The simplest option is the 2.5 GDI with 194 hp and paired with an 8-speed automatic. Another option is a 2.5-liter turbo (281 hp) paired with an 8-speed robotic box. Two hybrids based on a 1.6-liter turbo engine will also be offered: a conventional hybrid (235 hp) or a PHEV version, the power and battery size of which are still unknown.

And a few words about the car’s interior. We already know about a pair of 12.3-inch displays, the availability of 5- or 7/8-seat versions, and so on.

But now the possibility of ordering a folding passenger seat, the availability of an option with two second-row captain’s seats, a built-in disinfector and increased passenger space have also been announced.

The start of sales and the available versions of the Hyundai Santa Fe depend on the chosen market. It is currently known for certain that everything will start in South Korea at the end of the summer, but the new crossover will appear in the European and US markets either at the very end of this year or even in the spring of 2024.
