WhatsApp adds the ability to quickly send short video messages. The function will operate according to the principle of voice messages, which the service already offers. It is reported by The Verge.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg shared a short video about this feature and showed looping videos sent using it.

Video messages can be up to 60 seconds long and will automatically play without sound when the recipient opens the chat. To send a short clip, click on the voice message icon and switch it to video mode.

WhatsApp has long offered the ability to send videos, but a new feature makes the process more efficient. It will be available to everyone in the coming weeks.

By the way, recently WhatsApp got channels, Ukraine was one of the first to get access to the function. Channels can be used by people, organizations and businesses. Admins will be able to send text, videos, photos, stickers or polls. At the same time, they will not be able to add subscribers to their channel.
