It seems that Deadpool 3 will break the tradition of dressing Marvel heroes in boring dark suits. This conclusion can be drawn from the photo of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, who play the roles of Deadpool and Wolverine, writes The Verge.

A picture of the characters appeared on Ryan Reynolds’ Instagram. On it, the performer of Deadpool is dressed in a traditional black and red suit. But the image of Wolverine is bright yellow. This can be considered a reference to the X-Men animated series of the 90s, in which Wolverine wore a blue and yellow suit.

Vivid images are not the only “feature” of the film. It will combine several heroes from the film universe at once. In addition to Deadpool and Wolverine, the killer Elektra Natchios will appear in the film. Jennifer Garner, who recently signed a contract to participate in Deadpool 3, will return to this role.

Last fall, it became known that Hugh Jackman joined the cast of Marvel director Shawn Levy’s Deadpool 3 as the mutant Wolverine. Jackman himself will star for the first time since James Mangold’s Logan in 2017.

Deadpool 3 will be the first film in the franchise since Disney acquired 21st Century Fox in 2017. The move returned all intellectual property rights to the X-Men comics, including Wolverine and Deadpool, back to Marvel Studios.
