Microsoft has given early access to the Amazon Appstore on Windows 11 in February, but at that time only about 50 specially selected applications were available to users. After that, the company increased their number to 20 thousand, but still a significant part of the assortment of this store remained unavailable on Windows 11.

Now Microsoft announced changes to the provision of access to the Amazon Appstore – from now on, any developer with an Amazon Appstore Developer account can submit their application for testing for distribution on Windows 11.

To make this process easier, the company has released guides on how to make its apps compatible with the Windows Subsystem for Android — mostly related to window resizing and adapting to computer controls.

Thus, Windows 11 users can now access any applications in the Amazon Appstore (of which there are currently more than 50,000). Currently, this application store is available on Windows in 31 countries of the world, but Ukraine is, unfortunately not among them.
