The announcement of the new iPhone 15 lineup is still about four months away, but that doesn’t stop insiders from making predictions about the next generation of Apple smartphones, which is due to be unveiled in September 2024.

By the way, the iPhone 15 Pro should be the most significant update in recent years – the smartphone will receive a new, more rounded design, a titanium body frame, an improved camera and, of course, a USB-C port. But the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max might get displays with a larger diagonal, as we recently reported.

Now the first renders have appeared online, thanks to which you can compare the sizes of iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 16 Pro Max (it is possible that the model will be called iPhone 16 Ultra). As you can see, the diagonal of the display will increase to 6.9″. At the same time, the aspect ratio of the screen will be different, because the width of the smartphone will not change much (+0.5 mm), but the height will increase by 5.2 mm.

The first renders of the iPhone 16 Pro Max show a larger display

It is expected that the iPhone 16 Pro will also receive a display with a larger diagonal – 6.3″. The increased dimensions of the smartphone, in particular, will allow Apple to install a periscope telephoto lens in it.
