Updates for the 6-cylinder versions of the Mercedes AMG GT: a new “face” and equipment packages

Mercedes AMG GT43 and Mercedes AMG GT53 4-Door Coupe cars have received a lot of updates. The most important changes of these 6-cylinder models concern the “face”: the new front bumper and large air intakes are now made in the style of the 8-cylinder models. Other changes concern the rear of the Mercedes AMG GT cars, where a diffuser of a new shape has appeared.

The optional V8 Styling Package provides an even more aggressive design: with a huge radiator grille and a glossy black insert at the bottom – just like the AMG Black Series cars. Although it does not provide an increase in power: two cases use a 6-cylinder 3-liter gasoline turbo engine, but in the “43” model it produces 367 hp, while the “53” version offers 435 hp.

Also packages with the names Chrome, Carbon, and Aerodynamic are offered which add appropriate accents – chrome parts, carbon coating, and aerodynamic overlays. At the same time, the options for wheel rims or interior decoration, which are usually updated in similar cases, remain unchanged for the time being for the Mercedes AMG GT43 and Mercedes AMG GT53.

However, there are still changes in the interior. A panoramic glass roof and wireless charging on the second row of seats have been added to the list of standard equipment. An updated MBUX system is also used, which received improved graphics and offers a specific AMG menu design.

Sales of the updated Mercedes AMG GT43 and Mercedes AMG GT53 will start soon.
