After a break of one and a half months, on the night of April 28, 2023, Russian war criminals committed another act of terrorism, carrying out a massive missile attack on civilian objects. Air defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 21 out of 23 cruise missiles and 2 UAVs.
As reported by Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on April 28, 2023 at about 4 o’clock in the morning, the Russian invaders attacked Ukraine from Tu-95 strategic aircraft from the Caspian Sea region.
Anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with air defense systems of other components of the Defense Forces, destroyed 21 out of 23 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, as well as two operational-tactical level UAVs. Targets were destroyed in Air Command Center, Air Command East, and Air Command South areas of responsibility.
Unfortunately, two cruise missiles hit a residential building and warehouse buildings in Uman. We express our condolences to the families of the victims.
