The ID line of electric cars from Volkswagen debuted in 2019 with the ID.3 model. Now this is the smallest electric car from the Germans, built on the MEB platform. It has a minimalist design, both outside and inside, an average range in the class (from 330 km to 550 km according to the WLTP cycle) and good driving thanks to a low center of gravity.

It is not surprising that the ID.3 has become one of the most popular electric hatchbacks in many European countries, and also reached the Chinese market at the end of 2021. In the first official year of sales of the ID.3, Volkswagen received more than 144,000 orders in Europe.

At the end of 2022, the company already teased new generation ID.3. And in a week, on March 1, we will be able to see the updated electric car with our own eyes. In this honor, Volkswagen published a small video teaser.

As you can see, the electric hatchback will get updated LED headlights, as well as a slightly redesigned front end. In addition, Volkswagen promises that the restyled ID.3 will offer new interior materials and improved technology and software. The cost of the ID.3 Life version will start at €43,995 (before deducting the bonuses offered by different countries to buyers of electric cars).
