It seems that this is one of the times that Sony managed to announce the list of games that will appear on PS Plus next month, before all the unofficial leaks. There is still no traditional post on the company blog, but the corresponding announcement was made yesterday, during the State of Play broadcast.

So, in March, all subscribers of all PlayStation Plus tariff plans, including the basic Essential, will be able to add the following titles to their library:

Battlefield 2042 (PS4, PS5) – the latest part of the famous online shooter franchise, released at the end of 2021. Battlefield 2042 received mostly negative reviews, and just now the user rating on Steam is slowly recovering, going from 35% positive reviews all-time to 57% in the last month.

Minecraft: Dungeons (PS4) – a spinoff of the popular “sandbox”, a game in the dungeon crawl genre. Minecraft: Dungeons was released in 2020 on all major platforms to mixed reviews, with critics liking the good visuals and overall fun vibe, but not liking the simple gameplay and procedural location generation.

Code Vein (PS4) – a Japanese action/RPG created by the famous studio Bandai Namco. Code Vein “borrowed” the gameplay from Dark Souls, and the animation from God Eater 3, which were also released by Bandai Namco. The game received average reviews, but managed to sell more than 2 million copies.

In addition, during the State of Play, Sony also announced a list of games that will complement the game catalog of the more expensive PS Plus Extra and Premium tariffs from March 16.

Ghostwire Tokyo – action/adventure from the Tango Gameworks studio, founded by the legendary Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil, Dino Crisis). The game was released only a year ago and is already in the subscription catalog.

Immortals Fenyx Rising – another action/adventure, this time from Ubisoft. The game was released on all major platforms in 2020 and received good reviews.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction – another game from last year, a cooperative tactical shooter in a famous franchise.

Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection – re-release for PS5 of two games in the legendary Uncharted series. We once really liked this set of updated classics.

Tchia is the only exception in this list, which will become available in the PS Plus Extra and Premium tariff catalog not on March 16, but a little later. The fact is that Tchia, an action/adventure with very cute graphics, will enter the catalog on the day of its release, March 21.
