Elon Musk does not get tired of exploiting the Tesla brand not only for electric cars, but also for various accessories that are often completely unrelated to the company’s core business. You may have already seen car karaoke microphone and “cyber whistle” from Tesla, and now the manufacturer has introduced a “wireless charging platform”, with the help
of which you can charge two smartphones and headphones at the same time.
“Inspired by the angular design and metallic styling of Cybertruck, our Wireless Charging Platform provides 15W of fast charging power per device for up to three devices simultaneously. Its sleek design is composed of an aluminum housing, premium alcantara surface and a detachable magnetic stand that allows you to lay the charger flat or at an angle for better viewing,” says the description of charging on the Tesla website.
The company promises wireless charging on the entire plane of the device, so the user will allegedly not need to level the smartphone to start recharging. In addition, the charging station is equipped with a magnetic stand, as well as a 65 W power supply unit.
You can usually find similar devices in the $100-$150 range, but you’ll have to pay extra for the design and Tesla brand, and the company is offering its wireless charger for $300.
