Known for his impressive videos with drifting and stunts on mostly rally cars, Ken Block is currently undergoing a “gentle electrification”. The pilot already spoke about plans with Audi earlier. Now they have come to life.

The futuristic version of the classic Audi Sport Quattro S1 became the Audi S1 E-Tron Quattro Hoonitron and hit Las Vegas. And, probably, this time the residents of the city had less to complain about the filming process, because now Mr. Blok has a much quieter car. Audi did not go the Dodge way and did not simulate the roar of the engine. Therefore, the video is accompanied by the usual “electric” sound of an electric car.

In the short video, the viewer traditionally expects a large amount of rubber smoke, high speed, skillful drifts, jumps and several tricks. Though it was expected that the power of electric motors and a low center of gravity could make the videos more impressive, but subjectively, there is nothing radically new in the video.
Should that spoil the experience of watching Ken Block’s new video, even in a custom Audi? – No.
