Google has started sending out invitations to the Made by Google event, during which the company traditionally presents new devices. This year, the presentation will take place on October 6, starting at 17:00 Kyiv time.

For users who actively follow the company’s news, the October presentation is unlikely to bring many surprises. After all, Google announced and demonstrated smartphones during the I/O 2022 conference: Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, as well as a smartwatch Pixel Watch. However, the gadgets themselves are attracting increased interest.

Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro (the latter, by the way, recently appeared in short video unboxing) should become more advanced versions of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro models, which were quite well appreciated by many users. This is evidenced by the high demand for smartphones – Google CEO Sundar Pichai in February called the sales of the Pixel 6 line a “commercial success”.

As for the Pixel Watch, rumors about a smartwatch from Google have been floating around the web for the past few years. Finally, we will be able to see what the company has been working on all this time.

The gadget will have a round body shape with convex glass covering the display. The sides of the case will be made of recycled stainless steel. The watch will get its own band fastening system, they will be fixed thanks to magnets.

It’s official: Google will hold a presentation of the Pixel 7 and Pixel Watch on October 6

The Pixel Watch will run on an “enhanced” version of the Wear OS 3 operating system, with Google promising an updated interface with updated navigation and smart notifications. In addition, the Pixel Watch will receive standard Google applications such as Google Maps and Assistant, as well as Google Wallet and Google Home, which will be new to Wear OS.
