The growing popularity of Pixel smartphones is hard to ignore. Current models have already exceeded sales of the last two generations combined. This is a really cool result. Realizing this, the company supports the attention of fans and together with presentation of Pixel 6a , the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro were minimally demonstrated on the stage.
There will be no fundamental changes in the design of the rear of the device. Subsequent flagships from Google also received horizontal camera blocks that protrude from the body and cross the rear panel from edge to edge as their predecessors. The only difference is the material, because these blocks will be made not of glass but of aluminum, and will flow smoothly into the side frame of the case. Looks really good.
The number of cameras also did not change: Pixel 7 will get two (wide and ultra-wide), and Pixel 7 Pro three (additional telephoto) lenses.
There is no “coral” color on the renders yet. If nothing changes by the time of release, the Pixel 7 will receive black, white, and green body options, and the Pixel 7 Pro – black, white, and gray with a “gold” frame.
Of course, the new (but better to say – updated) flagships will see the world with new processors manufactured by the company and the Android 13 operating system.
The release is scheduled for the fall. And if you missed the presentation, its recording is here .
