Top Gun: Maverick is really a very high-quality air force porn that, like its 1986 predecessor, will probably increase the number of people wanting to serve in the US Air Force, but… it’s a fantastic movie and most US pilots have no real combat experience in a fight with an equal opponent. But the pilots of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine do. Our aces are the real “top guns”, and numerous videos of the work of the Ukrainian aviation at ultra-low altitude confirm this.

Such as a video posted today by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This video was shot by a Ukrainian MiG-29 pilot and dedicated to his fallen sworn brother, pilot Yevhen Lysenko, who heroically died in an aerial battle with the Russian invaders on March 9, 2022. Let’s remember our defenders!

As the portal Defense Express notes, this video is also interesting because on it you can see an example of the integration of an anti-radar missile on Ukrainian fighters AGM-88 HARM, which has been discussed for several weeks.

Each MiG-29, in this case probably a Ukrainian upgrade of the MU1, can carry two AGM-88 HARM missiles, for integration of which a transition pylon is used. In addition, the missile launch algorithm can be considered confirmed – at predetermined enemy air defense positions from a given area from a distance of up to 150 km.
