A Plague Tale: Requiem from the authors of Microsoft Flight Simulator “has gone gold”

French Asobo Studio, creators of the incredible Microsoft Flight Simulator announced that their new game, action/adventure A Plague Tale: Requiem “has gone gold”, that is, is ready for release and sent to the publisher, Focus Entertainment.

The game is a direct sequel to the action/adventure A Plague Tale: Innocence (2019), which at the time collected very positive reviews from both players and the press and won a good crop of awards. The events of the sequel take place several months after the end of the previous game, and the young Amisia de Roon and her younger brother Hugo are destined to undergo new severe tests and again face the horde of rats and the plague they carry.

On the occasion of A Plague Tale: Requiem going gold, the developers presented an overview video of the game, in which they talked about the main aspects of the plot and gameplay of the game.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is scheduled for release on Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch (cloud), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S in October 2022. According to the editors of Mezha, this is one of the most important releases of the year and, unlike many others, it will definitely not be postponed to 2023.
