Urbanista presented Phoenix TWS headphones with a solar panel on the case

The Swedish company Urbanista, which already has full-sized headphones with the ability to charge from sunlight, presented TWS headphones, which received a similar opportunity.

Unlike the full-size Los Angeles headset, the new Phoenix TWS earphones have no panels on the earphones themselves. Instead, the panel sits atop a case for storage and charging.

It doesn’t sound very convenient, considering that for “natural” charging you will have to keep the case in the sun, but you can still imagine a situation in which it could come in handy.

The headphones themselves offer up to 8 hours of battery life, which, taking into account the battery of their case, will increase to a total of 32 hours. And every additional hour that the case spends under the sun’s rays should, accordingly, extend the autonomy of the headphones by an hour.

In addition, the other capabilities of the headphones are also good. Urbanista Phoenix supports connection to two devices at the same time, has a “transparency” mode, an active noise cancellation system and is protected against moisture according to the IPx4 standard. Bluetooth 5.2 is used for communication, and there is USB-C for traditional charging.

Urbanista Phoenix should go on sale in the fourth quarter of this year at a price of $149. The model is available in black and pink.
