The festival of popular culture Comic-Con takes place these days in San Diego, and has traditionally become a platform for studios to present new trailers for upcoming films. Among them are both long-awaited movies and completely unexpected ones.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods

Shazam! Fury of the Gods from New Line Cinema – continuation of the story about the teenager Billy Batson. After saying the magic word Shazam! Billy turns into his adult alter ego, the superhero Shazam.

She-Hulk

The next big Marvel series on Disney+ will be She-Hulk. The show’s new trailer takes a lighter tone, showing the lead character’s cousin Bruce Banner explaining how important spandex and yoga are when you’re a giant superhero.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

The first trailer for Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was one of the surprises and one of the studio’s biggest challenges. During the presentation of the video, actress Letitia Wright said that it was important for her and the rest of the cast and crew to honor the legacy that Chadwick Boseman left after his death. The trailer for Wakanda Forever doesn’t directly acknowledge what happened to T’Challa in the MCU, but his absence and the recent discovery of a new underwater nation from Atlantis has the world — Wakanda in particular — on edge once again. While the people of Wakanda like Shuri (Wright), Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), and Okoye (Danai Gurira) are grieving and seem to be trying to figure out how they’re going to move on, the trailer also highlights a new race of amphibian humanoids.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

Epic and very expensive series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power from Amazon has received another trailer. At Comic-Con in San Diego, the company showed new footage. The action of the show takes place thousands of years before the events of The Lord of the Rings, during the Second Age of the history of Middle-earth.

Black Adam

The latest trailer for Black Adam once again gives you the briefest of glimpses of the tragedy in Black Adam’s (Johnson) past that eventually led to him becoming a superhuman somewhat similar to Shazam. Although Adam was unable to save his family from a cruel fate in the distant past, in the present day he uses his powers to deliver brutal justice.

The Sandman

The latest trailer for The Sandman, based on the comic book series written by Neil Gaiman, once again tells the story of Morpheus, also known as the Dream (Tom Sturridge), who has just been released from mortal imprisonment and needs to be restored to regain his former power.

John Wick 4

The first trailer for John Wick 4, which was revealed unexpectedly at San Diego Comic-Con, has all the moments you’d expect from a Wick movie, including Keanu Reeves efficiently taking down enemies.
