Zaporizhzhia District State Administration has confirmed that the solar panels of the Tokmak Solar Energy power plant are being dismantled and removed by the occupiers. This was reported by Ekonomichna Pravda with reference to the Zaporizhzhia District State Administration.

At first, the Zaporizhia Regional State Administration assured that the information about the robbery was not true, and all the solar panels were in place. Later, the head of the Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration Oleh Buriak confirmed that the occupiers were trying to “quietly” steal the property of the solar power plant. He added that full information will be provided later.

We will remind, on June 23 it became known that the occupiers have been dismantling and taking away the Tokmak Solar Energy power plant for a long time. This was reported by a local newspaper with reference to local residents. The power plant is located near the now occupied Tokmak in the Zaporizhzhia region. Before the information about the robbery was confirmed, it was attempted to verify it with the help of satellite images.

Tokmak Solar Energy has a capacity of 50 MW and an area of ​​96.4 hectares. According to Ekonomichna Pravda, it is the fifth largest solar power plant in Ukraine.
