Recently we have told you about new models of “Japanese” from the USA, among which there was Subaru sedan. And now it’s time for SUV update – the flagship model Subaru Ascent. Let’s remind that now it is the largest Subaru SUV and the only one offered with an 8-seater.

Updates are not radical, but noticeable. First of all, the front part has changed dramatically: a new bumper, a modified radiator grille, C-shaped headlights. Also, the Onyx Edition is special, as it is decorated with dark decorative details and black 20-inch wheels.

As for the interior, the Subaru Ascent SUV of 2023 model year features a new front panel built around a vertical 11.6-inch Full HD touchscreen display. Although if you look closely, next to it traditional physical controls are preserved.

In addition, the car features advanced functionality of the EyeSight security system and Cabin Connect system (a kind of internal “intercom”, because the rear passengers themselves are sitting well away from the driver).

Same as before, SUV Subaru Ascent is equipped with a 2.4-liter turbo engine with 260 hp, paired with a CVT transmission and branded all-wheel drive. The only technical change is a 2-mode system X-MODE instead of the usual one.
