There will be no traditional Electronic Entertainment Expo this year, however, we will not be left without loud presentations and announcements. Yesterday, Sony held its next State of Play presentation, during which it demonstrated many interesting projects.
PC version of Spider-Man Remastered
Another PlayStation exclusive is aimed at computer gamers – Sony and Insomniac have announced that Spider-Man, which first came out on the PS4 in 2018, will be available on August 12.
Street Fighter 6
Announced in January, Street Fighter 6 was finally shown on State of Play. The game will have two modes – a traditional “fighting” and a one-user story campaign with the exploration of the open world. Street Fighter 6 will be released next year on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Resident Evil 4 Remake
The wave of remakes of the first parts of Resident Evil has finally reached RE4 – one of the best in the series. The game will be released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on March 24, 2023.
Unusual adventure with a cat in the lead role – from this trailer at least it becomes clear what the gameplay will look like. The release of Stray is scheduled for July 19, the game will be released on PC, PS4, and PS5.
Final Fantasy XVI
Sony has finally demonstrated the gameplay of the next part of the “finale” – the game was announced in 2020, and then its release was scheduled for 2021, and then postponed to spring 2022. Now Sony says that Final Fantasy XVI should be released in a year, in summer 2023. Will we believe that?
The Callisto Protocol
A very promising horror from the creator of Dead Space (which is very similar even visually) is released on December 2 this year on all major platforms, including consoles of the last generation: PC, Playstation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S.
Sony also announced what games are being prepared for its next PlayStation VR2 virtual reality headset. In particular, No Man’s Sky, Resident Evil Village and Horizon: Call Of The Mountain will be available for it. The game was announced in January along with the headset itself, but the full trailer has only just been shown.
