The electric pickup segment is just emerging – we previously wrote about the most interesting first models of “trucks”. However, it seems that no manufacturer wants to lose a piece of the pie, which could grow significantly in the coming years.

The Chinese company Geely didn’t stand aside and announced the appearance of an electric pickup. Not just a pickup truck, but a separate sub-brand Radar, which should incorporate the latest electric models. We remind that now in the range of Geely there is only one pickup Farizon Remote FX (the main photo in the news), which is based on the usual passenger SUV.

Instead, the Radar brand should produce more powerful, large, load-lifting models that will receive modern electrical equipment. These should be worthy competitors of Rivian and Tesla, no less! After all, the Chinese company Geely has extensive experience in building electric vehicles: do not forget about the experience of the brands Polestar and Volvo, which are now actively involved in the topic of electric cars.

We will be able to find out more information only on May 13. The presentation of the strategy and products of the new brand is scheduled for this date.
