Even when Elon Musk acquired Twitter and will possibly restore Trump’s account on the platform, the former US president is not going to return to it, according to Fox News. Instead, he will use his own social network TRUTH Social as the only platform for communication.

“I’m not going on Twitter, I’m going to stay on TRUTH. I hope Elon buys Twitter because he’ll make improvements to it and he is a good man, but I am going to be staying on TRUTH,” Trump commented. He is going to start “truthing” next week.

Formally a TRUTH social network owned by Trump Media & Technology Group, was launched last month and has been working on new cloud services for four days after being tested since February. According to Trump’s CEO, the platform’s architecture “works flawlessly and lightning fast.”

When Trump was asked whether Twitter under Mask’s leadership would compete with TRUTH, the former president said he felt it would be a positive shift in social media. Insiders know that Trump has a good relationship with Elon Musk, they are friends.

“I think it is good. We want liberty and justice and fairness in our country, and the more we can have open, the better. But no, I don’t view that as a competition for what I am doing.”

“This is a platform for my voice. TRUTH is a platform for my voice and for my supporters. But I want everybody to come over to TRUTH—conservatives, liberals, whatever. We want everyone,” Trump said.

According to him, Twitter became boring after the Conservatives were thrown off the platform. We remind that the former president was permanently blocked on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat after the Capitol attack on January 6, 2021. Twitter acknowledged a number of his tweets about violent protests were inciting hostility, and warned of “the risk of further incitement to violence.”

At the same time, Musk promises freedom of speech on the platform he is buying. “I hope that even my worst critics will remain on Twitter, because that is what free speech means,” he wrote.
