The Russian V2U artificial intelligence strike drone has received a new version. It is a reconnaissance UAV that also works on the basis of AI. This was reported by military radio technology specialist Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov.
According to him, this type of UAV has been seen on all fronts this week. It differs from the attack version in the absence of tail stabilizers in the center. After completing a reconnaissance mission, the drone lands on a parachute.

"When we studied the trophies, there were different names for this line of drones in the V2U program. There is a strike drone. There is also a reconnaissance drone. All that remained was a courier drone for logistics," wrote "Flash."
The specialist noted that the developer and manufacturer of this drone are unknown. At the same time, there are no Russian components inside the UAV.
"For me, the most important issue is the interaction of reconnaissance and strike drones in a swarm solution. I will repeat once again that I consider this development of the AI-based UAV line to be the most innovative and dangerous," the specialist emphasized.
Recall that in early June, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Directorate of Defense published data on the design, electronic database, and sources of supply of the Russian V2U strike UAV. A feature of the drone is its ability to autonomously search and select targets using artificial intelligence.
