On the occasion of the Ukrainian Games Festival 2025, a game test of the Ukrainian strategy about automation at the planetary level Warfactory from Almost Games and Terricon Games has begun. Interestingly, the publisher of the game is Palaye, that is, the organizers of the Indie Cup competitions and the Ukrainian Games Festival itself. It seems that the PR agency is expanding its scope of activity to publishing.
Warfactory is a mix of a production automation game, real-time strategy battles, and 4X strategy in which you gradually expand your holdings.
You play as an ancient AI created to preserve civilization. But humanity is long gone, and only one last order remains: to restore order to a galaxy drowning in chaos.
Players will need to deploy conveyor networks the size of an entire planet and assemble combat vehicles piece by piece. Because logistics are the arteries, and production is the pulse of war. If supplies stop, the front will collapse.
The story campaign spans several planets, and there's also a roguelike mode. Visually, Warfactory is low-poly with a Japanese style and samurai robots.
You can join the Warfactory playtest on the game's Steam page. The authors plan to release the game by the end of 2025. The Ukrainian language is available, so feel free to add it to your Wishlist.
