Samsung has introduced two new models of its Sound Tower mobile speakers, the ST50F and ST40F, featuring Party Lights+ with five presets and six dynamic effects that can be controlled via the app.
The lighting system adjusts to the music in real time, analyzing rhythms and frequencies, and triggers dozens of LEDs. Customizable effects include various color animations.
The LED lighting covers the entire speaker, creating a 360° effect. It illuminates the woofers and tweeters, has linear lights around the perimeter, crystal effects in the center and bottom, and also illuminates the handle with control panel.
Meanwhile, the Sound Tower ST50F and ST40F have additional entertainment features, such as DJ Booth and Karaoke modes, as well as a guitar input to turn any space into a stage.
The sound is powered by Samsung's Wevaguide technology with dual dome tweeters, which makes the soundstage wider and more even. The speakers support several modes - from Deep, Punchy and Gentle to Standard, Wide, Stadium and Outdoor - to adjust the sound to different conditions. An additional plus is the IPX4 water protection.
Among other specs, the Sound Tower ST50F offers up to 18 hours of battery life, has two 6.5-inch woofers, 1-inch dual-dome tweeters, and costs $699. The ST40F offers 12 hours of audio playback, has dual 5.25-inch woofers, 3/4-inch dual-dome tweeters, and costs $499.
